If you play the...
...then you're invited to join the String Chamber Ensemble at Centre Music House!
About the Ensemble
Students ages 8 to 16 will get together for weekly rehearsals in a group of up to 50 fellow musicians. Guided by the Director, students will learn how to play classic string chamber pieces on their instruments. Students who play the same instrument will work together in breakout rooms to play for each other and offer constructive peer-to-peer guidance. At the end of the season, the ensemble will produce a final performance featuring all the songs they learned.
Ensembles will meet virtually every Thursday for 10 weeks starting January 5th (except for February Break 2/18).
The Concert Band Ensemble will perform virtually at the end of the semester.
Deadline: Dec 27th, 2020
The ensemble is limited to 50 students. Students should have at least one year of experience playing their instrument.
