Vintage Sekova Made-In-Japan A-Style Mandolin w/Case & Strap (USED)

Our Notes: This mandolin comes to us from a friend who was doing some Spring cleaning in his music room. Overall, this vintage mandolin is in Very Good condition. There is very little information about this specific mandolin. We are estimating this instrument was made in the 1960s-70s based on the time-period that the manufacturer was producing instruments. The various marks and scratches would further indicate that the instrument is vintage as well as some imperfections in the binding. There is a slight finish crack where the neck meets the body, but the crack looks cosmetic only and not effecting the playability of the instrument. The tuning machines all function very well. The frets have minimal wear. It appears someone has outlined the f-holes with a red sharpie marker - it doesn't look half bad! We have replaced the strings with a brand new set and given the mandolin an overall cleaning. Includes a chipboard case and strap.
