Our Notes: In fair condition. Considering the age of the horn, it's in pretty good shape overall. There are no dents present. The lacquer finish is severely worn due to normal use and some pads/keys would have to be replaced in order to function properly. Comes w/ case & mouthpiece. Serial number: 15554
The Selmer "Cigar Cutter" is the saxophone that was manufactured by the Selmer Company between the years 1930 and 1933. They were officially part of the Selmer Super Sax (SSS) line, but got it's name for a destinctive octave mechanism that looked similar to a cigar cutter. The serial number history ranges from 11951 to 18700 with each one stamped on the side of the bell. This vintage instrument is a collector's dream and a musician's treasure.
