Our Notes: This guitar is a stunning player. It's surprisingly light, weighing in at just a hair above 4 pounds. Despite this airy quality, the guitar produces a loud and resonant tone that demands and deserves to be heard. Overall the guitar is in Excellent Condition. The face of the guitar and the pickguard have a few light scratches that can only be seen when the light hits them and the back of the headstock has been marked with the word "USED." Apart from these very minor cosmetic imperfections, the guitar is practically brand new. The Guild branded case is in beautiful condition.
The full-bodied and powerful tone of this Guild dreadnought provides guitarists with a classic acoustic sound and balanced voicing. Built with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid African mahogany back and sides, the D-140 features a bone nut and saddle, and a mother-of-pearl rosette. This model also has a 1¾” nut width on a vintage shaped Guild neck, iconic Chesterfield headstock emblem reminiscent of 1960s Guilds, and a period-correct tortoiseshell pickguard.
