The steel shell drum features ten, high-tension lugs and a 20-strand high-carbon, steel-coiled wire snare that combine to deliver a powerful, brisk sound. The inner mute is easy to use even for beginners. This model is ideal for beginning concert band ensembles and a wide variety of musical genres at the elementary and middle school level.
