Gretsch USA GB-0812T Brooklyn Series Round Badge Tom, 8 x 12", Natural (USED)

In 1883, Gretsch Drums was born in Brooklyn, New York. The shell material is 6-ply maple sandwiched between 2-ply poplar, making the most of the vintage characteristics. In addition, the inside of the shell is painted with Gretsch's unique secret silver interior paint. The Brooklyn Series hoops use a 3mm thick double flanged hoop named "302 hoops", inspired by the hoops of the 1950s. It features a slightly higher hoop, especially the snare, which allows for a variety of rim shots. It also features a tone with a sense of openess compared to a conventional die-cast hoops. In addition, the amblem is a newly designed "Brooklyn Round Badge"
