1960s Vintage Slingerland Tom-Tom, 9 x 13" (USED)

Our Notes: Slingerland tom-tom from the mid to late 1960s with Black and Brass Niles Ill badges and in a "Satin Flame Pearl" finish. Tom- toms are 9 X 13. Wrap on the toms is checked and smudged as evident in the photos.

The Slingerland name is recognized all over the world. The Slingerland shell is molded to a perfect circle and size in one operation. The veneers and inside solid maple reenforcing hoops are glued together at one time. This overcomes the strains on veneers which exists when a shell is made from flat plywood and then bent into a circle.

The tom toms feature Rim-Shot hoops which provides strong and even tension.
