Intended as a supplement to private or group lessons, Basics of Keyboard Theory, Level 1 presents basic theory concepts to the beginning music student.
Basics of Keyboard Theory, Level 1 is divided into 13 lessons, with reviews of many lessons, two games, and a Review Test at the end. Lessons may be combined with one another or divided into smaller sections, depending on the ability of the student. Whenever possible, it is helpful to demonstrate theory concepts on the keyboard, and apply them to the music the student is playing.
Learning music theory can be very rewarding experience for the student when carefully applied to lessons. Basics of Keyboard Theory, Level 1 is an important part of learning this valuable subject.
