Christmas Carols for Children

The simple optional accompaniments may be played by the teacher, parent or more advanced child. As the beginner will unconsciously strive to imitate the rhythm and expression used by the older person, it s important for his progress in musical development that the teacher emphasize a musical interpretation at all times. If no one is available who can play the piano accompaniments, the BEGINNER solos are complete in themselves. The parent may still be of assistance, by correctly singing the carol for the child, thereby indicating the desired qualities of rhythm and expression.
