Antonio Vivaldi Sonata No. 6 for Tenor Saxophone and Piano

"This is the 6th and perhaps the best of the six sonatas by Antonio Vivaldi (1678-1743), of which only one movement of the 4th sonata in A major has been republished in modern times. The only known source, the original edition of 1737, is not to be found in any of the standard bibliographies, nor is it mentioned in Altmann's thematic catalogue of the printed works of Vivaldi (1922)."

Originally named "The Faithful Shepherd, Sonatas for the Bagpipe, Hurdy-gurdy, Flute, Oboe, Violin, with a Figured Bass . . . Op.Xllla".

Arranged for Tenor Saxophone and Piano.
