About:
Mauro Correa was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He has performed and taught in Germany, Argentina, Mexico and Brazil. In 1997 he was invited to work, perform and record with the Instituto Pro Musica de California in San Francisco. He has lived in the United States since then. He has performed and recorded with members of the San Francisco Symphony, San Francisco Ballet, San Francisco Opera, Richmond (VA) Symphony, and many wonderful musicians.

Mauro has a great passion for Latin American and Brazilian classical and popular music.

Apart from music, Mauro loves long walks with his dog "Samba," has a passion for native gardening, and has been a vegetarian for more than 40 years.
