If you play the...
...then you're invited to join the Jazz Band Ensemble at Centre Music House!
About the Ensemble
Students ages 11 and up will get together for weekly rehearsals in a group of up to 20 fellow musicians. Guided by the Director, students will learn how to play fun and exciting jazz band pieces on their instruments. Students who play the same instrument will work together in breakout rooms to play for each other and offer constructive peer-to-peer guidance. At the end of the season, the band will produce a final performance featuring all the songs they learned. This ensemble is for intermediate players with at least three years of experience playing their instruments.
Ensembles will meet virtually every Monday for 10 weeks starting April 4th (except for April Break 4/19 and Memorial Day 5/31).
The Jazz Band Ensemble will perform virtually at the end of the semester.
April 5th - June 21st
The ensemble is limited to 20 students. Students should have at least three years of experience playing their instrument.
