Corina Roman began her piano performance and pedagogy after studying at Music High School in Cluj, Romania in 1972. Corina then went on to study at the Academy of Music in Bucharest where she received her Master’s in Piano Pedagogy 1977. For the next five years, Corina spent her time teaching at a music school in Ramnicu Valcea, Romania. During the summers, Corina continued her piano studies in Weimer Germany where she specialized in Romantic repertoire under the tutelage of Rudolf Kehrer. In 1983, Corina moved to Israel where she taught at both the Gyvataiim Municipal Conservatory and Anzaghi. Corina continues to teach piano students of all ages and is an active member of NEPTA (New England Piano Teacher Association). Many of her students have participated in piano competitions and several have gone on to forge their own careers in music.
