String Lessons

Our string program offers lessons on violin, viola, and cello. We have violin students starting as young as age 5, cello around 9 or 10. It's not unusual for us to have a number of adult string students as well.

We do not teach the Suzuki method, though we often use the Suzuki method books where the teacher feels it appropriate. Parents of young students are welcome to observe the lesson in order to be able to help their student with at-home practice. We do offer rental instruments in all sizes and also stock accessories such as strings, shoulder rests, rosin, etc.
